In 2026, FIRST dug into archeology with the FIRST AGE theme. In the FIRST Robotics Competition game, REBUILT, two competing alliances are invited to score fuel, cross obstacles, and climb the tower before time runs out. Alliances earn additional rewards for meeting specific scoring thresholds.

Meet our 2026 Robot, Lone Ranger
This season, we focused on maximizing how much FUEL (the yellow balls) we can score. With dual shooters and a 4-bar intake, Lone Ranger is a powerhouse. The chassis is 25″ x 35″, which gives us a massive hopper space. With an expanding hopper attached to our intake, our robot’s FUEL capacity is 63 balls. The intake utilizes materials that provide the perfect balance between being rigid (for consistent in-taking) and flexible (so the robot can withstand defense). The shooter uses a Limelight camera to align us with the hub, then the shooter wheels spin up, allowing us to accurately score into the hub every time.
