The 2025 theme for all the FIRST programs is DIVE, and the FIRST Robotics Competition game is REEFSCAPE. In this game, two competing alliances are invited to score coral, harvest algae, and attach to the barge before time runs out. Alliances earn additional rewards for meeting specific scoring thresholds and for cooperating with their opponents. The alliance that earns the most points wins the match!

Meet our 2025 Robot, Siren
Siren is an incredibly unique robot. There is a 25″ x 8″ hole in the center of the drive train, which allows it to deep climb. The intake uses two horizontal shafts with compliant wheels to pick up coral from the ground or the source and score it into the trough. It can also pick up algae from the ground to score in the processor. The intake feeds into a carriage attached to the carbon fiber elevator to score on all three levels of the reef. The elevator is continuously rigged using capstans made by our lathe. It has an incredibly fast L1 cycle time, at around 3 seconds!
